Eel Town Folk School

Eel Town Folk School ETFS is a space for musicians, artists, and social justice advocates to work and foster community through education, performance, and empowerment.

We forge an alternative approach to the development of the arts, economy, and general wellbeing. Eel Town Folk School lives at the heart of historic Brunswick, MD. The school is a collaboration of local music and visual arts educators who share a belief that Art in its many forms is a powerful driving force behind strong communities rooted in social justice, meaningful self-care, and big dreams fo

r a thriving future. Our doors are wide open to students of all ages, abilities, and means. We especially encourage individuals and groups who have in the past or currently experience a disconnect to arts education to engage with our staff and programming. TONIGHT from 7:00 - 7:45, Community Art Project: Creativity Blooms! We are filling an 8 foot sheet of paper with flowers, to be hung at Eel Town Folk School.
Crayons, Colored pencils, Paint Markers, and Markers on site. Gloves and Sanitizer for all as needed! Come share your creativity! I want flowers of different sizes, colors, shapes, types, and styles, as a symbol of the diverse Creativity Blooming in Brunswick.

Eel Town Folk School offers Visual Art lessons from Catherine at Starry Night Art Studio! Please join us Friday May 28 at 7pm in Brunswick for our community art project "Creativity Blooms!", artists will be asked to create flowers in a variety of media on large paper (all supplies provided). I envision a variety of colors, shapes, types, sizes and styles of flowers! Please come and share your creativity!!

We love our buds at The Hive Bakeshop! They are turning 3 years old (!!) and our very own Phillips and Amanda of the Eel Town Syndicate will be there to celebrate with them. We'll be holding down the music from 11 - 1 and hope you'll stop by for some celebratory baked goods and good times.

We officially turn *3* next week- and we're ready to party 🥳. Join us Saturday, May 22nd, as we host our Birthday Bash from 11 am to 5pm here at The Hive Bakeshop here in beautiful Brunswick, Maryland. Joining us will be , , , , , , , , , and MORE! Special thanks to our friends at for the awesome poster design! We do anticipate a fun and busy day so please be courteous and park on the street if you plan to stay a while (which we hope you'll do!). 🐝🐝 Also, *Free* cake slices for the first 50 purchases (while supplies last, one cake slice per purchase)
