Had a blast in St. Augustine with some great trainers and CrossFit athletes. Excited to earn this as it’s just another area for me to learn as much about the fitness industry and beliefs in how we can best improve our athletes. After going through this I have a different view of CrossFit for sure. With having earned my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, it will add to my Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and being a Level 1 Coach through USA Weightlifting. Before creating Coastal Sports Apex Coach Sorrow comes with collegiate playing and coaching experience as well as high school varsity experience. Coach Sorrow also comes with his Rapsodo and Driveline Baseball Hitting Certification. As the business continues to grow so will the knowledge and technology to best help develop and track his players growth.

🚨Meet the owner🚨

Coastal Sports Apex, LLC is owned and operated by its founder, Paul Sorrow. The name Coastal Sports comes from Coach Sorrow moving to the South Georgia Coast. Apex was then added with the training mindset that we need to work every day to be "on top of the food chain" and to be "the hunters, not the hunted". Coach Sorrow comes with playing experience as high as the collegiate level (Andrew College, Georgia Southwestern State University and Brewton-Parker College). Coach Sorrow will also bring baseball and football coaching/training experience that ranges from Middle School aged athletes to the Collegiate level (Vidalia Heritage Academy, Henderson Middle School, Needwood Middle School, Hardknox Player Development, Bash Baseball, Locust Grove High School, Brunswick High School, and Middle Georgia State University). Alongside Coach Sorrow's playing and coaching experience he has been a strength and conditioning, physical education and health teacher. Coach Sorrow has received his Personal Training Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Coastal Sports Apex was created with Health, Fitness and Athletics in mind. Coach Sorrow is avid about his vision of personal development for everyone and player development for his athletes. He is extremely excited to continue to spread his always growing knowledge of the health/fitness and athletic industries through CSA.

Nicole Yeomans was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. where she attended the University of Oklahoma. During her time at OU, Coach studied Health and Exercise Science. She then went on to earn her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. Coach Yeomans has worked at Orangetheory Fitness as a fitness consultant, coach, and then became the head coach. Her passion for helping others reach and exceed their fitness goals excites her to continue on this path with Coastal Sports Apex! We are blessed to have her joining the Apex Family!
