The school boards of Shickley, Bruning, and Davenport will hold a joint public meeting on August 17, 2026, at 7:00 pm in the Shickley Public School main gym. The purpose of this meeting is to present information regarding building assessments completed by BVH Architects and explore the feasibility of future joint opportunities among school districts. This is an open public meeting and community members are encouraged to attend.

Two backpacks were donated to Bruning-Davenport for students who may need one. This will be first come, first serve. If your student is in need of a backpack, please call the Bruning office - 402-353-4685.

PARKING AT THE BRUNING BUILDING
Due to the construction at Kinder Academy, this is the temporary plan for parking as we start school next week:

*Faculty - park in the East parking lot
*11th & 12th Graders - park in the South parking lot
*9th & 10th Graders - park East of the greenhouse by the football field

When entering or exiting any parking lot of the school, please come and go from the East to deter congestion by Kinder Academy. If you have any questions, please contact the Bruning office - 402-353-4685.
