My page has started showing me nothing but ads and notifications. Thanks for the suggestion to send a Facebook message. It works!! I'm seeing posts again from people I didn't see anymore. Facebook's new algorithm chooses the same people - about 25 - who see your posts. Put your finger somewhere in this post and click "copy". Go to your page where it says "what’s on your mind" and click paste. This will get the system started.

Elf Jr musical. You can see your old director acting. Strange being on stage instead of directing. However, this musical was a blast!!!

Overview of the speech season: we got runner up at CRC by only a few points. We won districts handedly and was runner-up at state. The tradition continues. For those followers who dont know, I have retired and have moved to Wahoo to be by my kids. My husband passed away in April from heart complications after two open heart surgeries. I have throughly enjoyed my years of teaching and coaching. I had some amazing kids, parents with outstanding administration, and community support. I already miss everyone but I will be back on occasion to support Ruth Kowalski, the new head speech coach and assistant play coach. She was my assistant this year and was amazing. I have no doubt that she will work the programs and continue the tradition at Bruning-Davenport. As Bruning Public School we had one state championship in play and one in speech with numerous state runner-up titles. As Bruning-Davenport we have had two state championships in play and six state championships in speech with numerous state runner-up titles in both. I have a long shelf in my new home devoted to memorability from Bruning-Davenport. I have shed a few tears more than once looking at it, but it will be a great reminder of the wonderful kids I have taught and coached.

Congrats speech team: CRC Conference Champs. We had 11 events in finals. 1st Place: Natalie Tegtmeier persuasive; Johanna Kluck Serious; OID with Natalie Tegtmeier, Ted Degner, Jaycie Hoins, Jayden Otto, and McKenna Schardt. 2nd Place: Johanna Kluck humorous; Chris Rohr extemp; McKenna Schardt persuasive. 4th Place: Joel Prince humorous; Duet with Liz Ohlde and Ted Degner; Morgan Lowery informative. 5th Place: Emily Folkerts entertainment; 6th Place: Mashaya Dierking poetry.

Bruning-Davenport Speech Team won 3rd place at the Milford Speech Team with 8 events in finals and 2 top novice awards. 1st place: Johanna Kluck in serious. 2nd place Natalie Tegtmeier in persuasive and OID with Joel Prince, Emily Folkerts, Trevor Hinds, Colton Lowery, and Mashaya Dierking. 3rd place: duet with Jaycie Hoins and Jayden Otto. 4th place: Joel Prince in humorous, OID with Natalie Tegtmeier, Jaycie Hoins, McKenna Schardt, Jayden Otto, Ted Degner. McKenna Schardt in persuasive, Morgan Lowery in informative Morgan also got top novice in informative. The other top novice went to the OID with Charlie Martin, Tyler Anderson, Stuart Rohr, Brandon Anderson, and Noel Gines.

Congratulations to our drama team: D2 State Runner up. Also, congrats to our outstanding performer awards: Natalie Tegtmeier, Joel Prince, Johanna Kluck, Ted Degner, and Jayden Otto. I also want to thank my senior team members for the beautiful roses. I am so happy you were able to experience four successful years in drama. I appreciate your dedication, talent, and leadership. Thank you for making this such an amazing season!!!
