💜 BARR Lesson: What Is Caring? 💜

Mrs. Brooks’ 2nd grade class spent time talking about what it means to care during their BARR lesson! 🫶

Students reflected on the people who care about them, including Mrs. Brooks and Ms. Murray , and realized that they have so many people cheering them on, supporting them, and caring about them every day! 💕

What a beautiful reminder that we are never alone and that we are surrounded by people who want to see us learn, grow, and succeed! 🐾💜

🎨☀️ Pre-K #2’s First Art Experience! ☀️🎨

Today was a special day as our Pre-K #2 students had their first experience in Art class! 🖍️💛 They had so much fun coloring the sun and letting their creativity shine! 🌞✨

We can’t wait to see all the beautiful things these little artists create this year! 🎨💜

💜 BARR Lesson 2: What Is Caring? 💜

Ms. Mills’ class had a great time learning about what it means to care during BARR Lesson 2! 🫶 Students talked about ways we can show kindness, support others, and make sure the people around us feel valued and cared for.

We love watching our Bulldogs learn that small acts of caring can make a BIG difference! 🐾💜

Ms. Mills’ class is working hard to make sure they know all of their Kindergarten sight words as they kick off an amazing 1st grade year! 💪📖

🎄 Santa’s Workshop auditions are coming!

We are so excited to bring back one of our favorite holiday traditions with a brand-new Christmas adventure for 2026.

Santa’s Workshop gives dancers the chance to perform, build confidence, make new friends, and create some pretty special Christmas memories along the way.

Auditions are Saturday, September 19.
Choose Headland or Brundidge when you register.

Ages 3–5: 9:00–9:45 AM
Ages 6–9: 9:45–10:30 AM
Ages 10–12: 10:30–11:15 AM
Ages 13+: 11:15 AM–12:00 PM

🎅 Participation fee: $25

We make a real effort to keep our participation fee low because we want Santa’s Workshop to remain an affordable opportunity for families.

🧪💧 Science Fun in Pre-K 1 & 2! 💧🧪

Today we experimented with poking pencils through a water-filled Ziploc bag! ✏️💦 We made predictions and were amazed to discover that the water didn’t leak!
Our little scientists learned that the plastic stretches and seals around the pencils, keeping the water inside. 🔬✨
