Brownwood Lions Head Coach, Coach Brixey, was our speaker today during our weekly lunch meeting. It sounds like our Lions have an amazing coaching team this year that is light years ahead of where we were last year. We are excited to see how our Lions do this year!

Today, the Kiwanis Club of Brownwood hosted John Allen (General Manager for the Brown County Water Improvement District) and Marcus Lively (Chief of Lake Patrol) as speakers at our monthly meeting. Lake Brownwood is the heart of our community and helps sustain us. These men shared their hard work, planning, and dedication to the safety and upkeep of the lake. From fishing tournaments to life jacket safety, to ensuring the lake remains a sustainable biome for the fish, their dedication is vital. Without their hard work, Brownwood would lack the well kept body of water that thousands enjoy and so many grew up on.

Thursday is our monthly lunch meeting!!

Our speakers will be John Allen (the General Manager for Brown Co Water Improvement District) along with Marcus Lively (Chief of Lake Parrol). They will be discussing lake activities, economic impact and law enforcement.
