Today we remember heroes.
Ten years ago, Dallas and the entire law enforcement community were forever changed.
Sgt. Michael Smith, Cpl. Lorne Ahrens, Officer Brent Thompson, Officer Michael Krol, and Officer Patrick Zamarripa all showed courage and all made the ultimate sacrifice while selflessly serving and protecting others.
Their courage, their service, and their sacrifice will never fade from our memory.

It’s always rad to be back at the alma mater with old FTO’s, former LT’s and a whole host of new 34’s ready to work. It’s a great place to learn how to cop… it’s violent and busy but a terrible place to live, do with that what you will.
Come for the green chilies and balloon fiesta… stay because you got homicided and / or addicted to m3th.
I learned a lot here, had more adventures than I can count, buried coworkers, raised young kiddos and made it out to greener pastures.
There’s a love / hate relationship with this place (we all do with our first love).

Hopping on social media this morning I saw a post calling into question if injured shooter training was necessary or if it was theatrics (vs competitive shooting). Ironically I also received the below text this morning.
Performance shooting and application work are not mutually exclusive.
You need both.
Competency in mechanics & application are crucial to a holistic training program.
