Did You Know…
On August 9, 1974, Illustrious Brother and Vice President Gerald Ford became the 38th President of the United States.
He was Initiated in Malta Lodge No. 465 in Grand Rapids, MI. Justice Columbia No. 3, District of Columbia, conferred the Fellowcraft & Master Mason degrees as a courtesy to Malta Lodge.
He received the Scottish Rite degrees in the Scottish Rite: AASR Valley of Grand Rapids in 1957 and created a Sovereign Grand Inspector General Honorary 33°, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, in 1962.
Was also a member of the York Rite, Grand Rapids Michigan.
He was a Saladin Shriners in Grand Rapids, MI & DeMolay International Legion of Honor.
