🐻💙🧡 Keller Families, Thank You for Your Patience!

As we make our way through the first week of school, we kindly ask everyone to please be patient with us during dismissal. Students, staff, and families are all adjusting to our dismissal routines, and Extended Day has not started yet, which means we are dismissing more students than usual each afternoon.

🚗 Please allow yourself a little extra time and help us keep everyone safe by following all traffic laws and school safety procedures.

👮 BISD Police will be monitoring and patrolling traffic around the school to help keep our students, families, and staff safe.

We know dismissal may take a little longer this first week, and we truly appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding as everyone gets into the routine.

Durante esta primera semana de clases, les pedimos de favor que tengan paciencia con nosotros durante la salida. Nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias todavía se están adaptando a las rutinas de salida. A few reminders for the morning:

🚗 Student Drop-Off: If you would like to drop off your child without getting down, the cafeteria doors will open at 7:15 AM.

👨‍👩‍👧 Walking Students to Class: Parents who would like to walk their child to the classroom may enter through the front of the school beginning at 7:45 AM.

Looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday? UTRGV Soccer is hosting a FREE Youth Soccer Clinic for children ages 5–13, followed by a FREE women's soccer match against Tec de Monterrey at Sams Memorial Stadium!

🎒 Get Ready for the New School Year!

Join Brownsville ISD for our Back to School Fair on Saturday, August 8, from 8:00–11:00 a.m. at the Central Administrative Building (708 Palm Blvd.).

BISD students can receive FREE backpacks (while supplies last), school supplies, haircuts, immunizations, dental screenings, and connect with local community organizations—all at no cost.

This event is for BISD students only.
