🎒📚 Brownsville ISD welcomed students and families to our Back to School Fair!

BISD students received free backpacks and school supplies, along with access to haircuts, immunizations, dental screenings, and valuable community resources.

A special thank you to Diana Clough, Homeless Coordinator, and Alejandra Aldrete, Parent and Family Engagement Director, for their hard work in helping make this event possible, as well as our community partners for supporting our students and families as we prepared for a successful new school year!

As we prepare for the new school year, Brownsville ISD is committed to creating classrooms where students can stay focused, engaged, and ready to learn.

Beginning this school year, personal communication devices, including cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, tablets, and similar devices, must be turned off, kept out of sight, and stored during the school day in accordance with state law and district guidelines.

Parents, if you need to contact your child during the school day, please call your campus front office. We also encourage families to review the new requirements together and ensure emergency contact information is up to date.

📚 Meet the Teacher Night at Brownsville Early College High School!

It was a great evening as we welcomed our students and families to campus for Meet the Teacher Night. From meeting teachers and staff to exploring classrooms and preparing for the first day of school, the excitement for the 2026–2027 school year was on full display.
