Starting around June 1, families can use two tools to find nearby sites serving no-cost meals for children 18 and younger☀️🍉

VISIT SummerFood.org or 📲CALL 2-1-1. In addition to locating a site, it’s important to frequently use these tools to confirm dates and times and gather more information about meal services.🍽️

Brownsville ISD Food & Nutrition Services, in partnership with the City of Brownsville Parks & Recreation Department, is excited to kick off another summer of providing FREE, nutritious meals to all children 18 years and younger!

In Texas, more than 1 in 5 children struggle with hunger. When school ends, many lose access to consistent, healthy meals—but the Summer Meals Program helps ensure every child has the nutrition needed for a healthy and active summer.

✨ Event Highlights:
🍽️ FREE lunch for children 18 & under (must be consumed onsite)
🎟️ FREE tickets to the Gladys Porter Zoo & Children’s Museum (while supplies last)
💃 FREE Zumba class & conditioning drills
⚽ Conditioning Drills with Beto Caballero, Brownsville ISD Alum

👧👦 Open to all children 18 and under
📢 No registration required — just come join the fun!
