Collaboration that drives discovery.

This past June, investigators, trainees and collaborators from across the Border Health Research Cohort (BHRC) partner institutions gathered at the Vanderbilt Genetics Institute in Nashville, Tennessee, for the 2026 BHRC In-Person Study Investigator Meeting.

Over two days, attendees shared scientific progress, explored emerging research opportunities and strengthened partnerships advancing precision health research.

From multi-omics and cardiometabolic disease to kidney health, AI and machine learning, local ancestry, ophthalmology and aging research, the meeting highlighted the power of cross-institutional collaboration.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the insightful discussions and shared commitment to advancing precision health research.
