From exploring coastal science at the UTRGV Coastal Studies Laboratory 🌊🔬 to getting an inside look at the UTRGV Simulation Hospital 🏥✨, our students packed the day with hands-on learning, discovery and inspiration!

This field trip gave RGVSSI students the chance to explore exciting opportunities in science, technology and health care while seeing STEM in action across the Rio Grande Valley! 🙌🌟

We welcomed our newest cohort of interns during orientation sessions in both Brownsville and Edinburg. Students had the opportunity to meet their mentors, connect with fellow interns, hear from RGVSSI alumni, learn about program expectations, tour research laboratories, and complete safety training as they prepare for an exciting summer of hands-on research.

We are excited to watch these future scientists grow, learn, and contribute to meaningful research experiences across the Rio Grande Valley.
