AVID Seniors of the Week: Allison and Jim!

This week, we’re celebrating two amazing seniors since we missed a week due to the holiday! Both Allison and Jim have shown incredible dedication by working hard to submit their college applications while managing the stress of senior year.

This photo was taken at The Night of Literary, where Mrs. Tolman’s students were invited to volunteer. Thank you, Allison and Jim, for showing leadership and commitment both in and out of the classroom. We’re so proud of you both and excited to see all that you will achieve!

Very late post, but a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our Annual AVID Food Drive! Your generous donations were delivered to the Ozanam Center, supporting those in need in our community.

As an educator, one of my goals is to encourage students to be globally aware and understand the impact of their actions on the world. This food drive is a reminder that service and compassion begin locally but can inspire a mindset of global citizenship.
