🎶🤠 REGION / PRE-AREA RESULTS! 🤠🎶

The Porter Cowboys Choir made their voices heard at the REGIONALS and PRE AREA rounds FOR THE TMEA Auditions! 💪🎤

This morning, 13 students proudly represented Porter, with 9 earning a place in the TMEA Region Choir and advancing to the Pre-Area round in the afternoon.

After two more rigorous audition rounds, we’re thrilled to share that 3 students advanced and 2 were named alternates to the final All-State round in January! 🌟

This accomplishment reflects the dedication, discipline, and drive our students demonstrate every day.

BISD ALL-CITY CHOIR!

On Friday, we will be featuring amazing choir students from our ten middle schools and six high schools in our annual All-City Choir concert! Directors have been working with students to prepare the repertoire, and we are thrilled to have invited guest conductors Christian De la Cruz from Katy ISD and Reginal Wright from Baylor University to work with our middle school and high school groups, respectively.

Students will have the opportunity to learn from these clinicians throughout the day and perform for you on Friday evening. You will not want to miss this unique opportunity to hear some catchy and compelling music performed by our fine student musicians.

The concert is at the TSC Arts Center at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 24th.
