HOMECOMING IS IN THE AIR AT SUNNY HILL!

We want to give a BIG congratulations to our 2026 Sunny Hill Homecoming Representatives & Royalty! We are so excited to have these young ladies representing their classes and our school during Homecoming! 💜🤍

BUT WAIT… we decided the teachers needed a little Homecoming fun too! 😂👀

For the FIRST TIME EVER, we are introducing our Teacher Homecoming Court! Our students nominated some of their favorite Sunny Hill educators, and now these ladies are officially in the running for the crown too!

Voting for Homecoming Queen AND Teacher Homecoming Royalty will take place September 11th!

Our winners will be announced September 17th at the Sunny Hill Football Homecoming Game!

Congratulations to ALL of our representatives and nominees! We can't wait to see who takes home the crowns!

💜🖤 Another GREAT Spirit Day on The Hill! 🐾🎶

We kicked off the day with music as we greeted our amazing students—because there’s no better way to start a Friday than with a little good energy! 🎵🙌🏽

Then came our Attendance Challenge! Homeroom teachers and students had to work together to:
🎶 Name the mystery song
📈 Have the highest attendance
📞 AND be the first class to call in with the correct answer!

Let’s just say…we JAMMED the phone lines for about 30 minutes! 😂📞🎶 Oops! Y’all were READY!

We kept the energy going with FREE snacks and music in the cafeteria, and then we made our way through classrooms for a little Math Trivia! 🧠➗➕🏆

Our students LOVE Fridays on The Hill because we literally DO THE MOST! 🤣💜🖤

At Sunny Hill, learning, attendance, school spirit, and FUN all go hand in hand!

☕️ Sunny Hill was blessed today! 💜🖤

A huge THANK YOU to Pastor Cowell and Brownsville Baptist Church for blessing our staff with a Keurig! Our educators can now enjoy that much-needed “cup of happy” right before getting their day started. ☕️😊

We are so grateful for the continued love and support shown to our Sunny Hill family. It truly takes a village, and we are blessed to have such amazing community partners who pour into our staff and students.

Thank you for helping keep it Sunny on The Hill! ☀️💜🐾

Congratulations to our 7th Grade Traditional Team for earning this month’s HAWK Award! 💜 Their consistent supervision of students during restroom breaks, transitions, lunch, MAPS, and throughout the school day demonstrates teamwork, consistency, and a commitment to student safety.

☀️💜 ANOTHER GREAT SPIRIT DAY ON THE HILL! 💜☀️

We started our morning with great music, big smiles, and even better energy as we welcomed our students to another amazing day on THE HILL! 🎶🙌🏽

Our admin team jumped into Math classrooms to review content and support learning—because we are always keeping academics at the forefront! 📚✏️

And of course… LUNCH DID NOT DISAPPOINT! 😂🎶💃🏽🕺🏽 We had a GRAND OLE TIME!

Our students are truly THE BEST, and we are so grateful for the energy, joy, and spirit they bring to Sunny Hill each day! 💜🐾
