Congratulations on an outstanding achievement—9th in the State —TMEA 2C Honor Band Contest!

For the 13th time in our school’s history, the Vela Symphonic Band has earned a place among the state’s finest by advancing to the TMEA State Finals. What an incredible tradition of excellence!

We couldn’t be more proud of our students, whose dedication, perseverance, and commitment made this remarkable accomplishment possible. They simply ROCK!

The Vela Band earned this prestigious honor after being selected 1st Place at the Area G Honor Band Hearing. 🏆🎶

This achievement represents the dedication, discipline, and outstanding musicianship of our students, along with the commitment of our band directors, families, administration, and everyone who continues to support the Vela Band program.

The Vela Symphonic Band will now represent our school at the TMEA State Semifinals held in San Antonio this July!
