Then on Sunday join us at Main Event 🎳 to raise funds for the band program from 5pm - 8pm! Present the flyer at the appropriate location in order for the programs to receive a portion of your sale 😊

🚗 A Friendly Pick-Up Reminder! 🚗
To help keep our students safe and alleviate traffic congestion, we are asking all Band parents to use the New Gym/ Teacher Parking Lot for student pick-up and drop-off at all times.

The traffic flow in front of the Band Hall can become very busy during arrival and dismissal times, making it difficult for students to safely navigate the area. Using the New Gym/ Teacher Parking lot provides a safer and more efficient space for everyone.

Thank you for helping us make student safety our top priority and for doing your part to keep traffic moving smoothly. 😊

Student and Parents! It is important that we have a Physical on file for physical activity. You can get your physical with your pediatrician/ primary care doctor. There are also clinics offering physicals at a low cost or free!

The wait is over, our 2026 season officially begins tomorrow with Leadership Training! Colorguard and Percussion Camp will take place July 15–17, and we can’t wait to welcome the full band back for Summer Band Session 2 on July 20.

We’re excited to get this season underway and begin preparing our 2026 production. Lets make this an unforgettable marching season. Here’s to a great year ahead! Go Eagles! 🦅🎶

The Vela Band earned this prestigious honor after being selected 1st Place at the Area G Honor Band Hearing. 🏆🎶

This achievement represents the dedication, discipline, and outstanding musicianship of our students, along with the commitment of our band directors, families, administration, and everyone who continues to support the Vela Band program.

The Vela Symphonic Band will now represent our school at the TMEA State Semifinals held in San Antonio this July!
