The 26-27 school year is just around the corner! 🎉 This is our first newsletter of the year. We will be posting more every week to share updates, news, and highlights of our excellent students!

☀️🎶 Oliveira Middle School Band – Summer Band Camp Session II is Almost Here! 🎶☀️

We can’t wait to welcome our band students back for Summer Band Session II, running July 22 – July 31!

This is a great opportunity for students to:
🎵 Build strong fundamentals
🎵 Prepare for the upcoming school year
🎵 Get a head start on All-Region music
🎵 Grow as musicians while having fun with their band family!

Please check the schedule below for your student’s instrument-specific rehearsal times.

📅 Session II Dates: July 22 – July 31

We encourage all students to attend consistently, bring their instrument, music, and a positive attitude each day. The work we put in this summer will set us up for a fantastic year!

🎉 ADVANCING TO AREA! 🎉

The Oliveira Honor Band has earned 3rd Place at today’s Region 28 Honor Band Hearing! This outstanding finish has secured the band a spot in the Area Round of the TMEA Honor Band Competition. It is a tremendous accomplishment for our program and school’s community!

We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

A big congratulations goes out to our beginner band at the “Music on the Shore” Festival in Port Isabel this morning! They received Superior Ratings from all 3 judges! Thank you to all our parents who came out to support! ❤️🎶💙
