The countdown is almost over! Brownsville ISD is excited to welcome students, families, and staff back for the first day of the 2026–2027 school year.

Get ready for a year filled with learning, growth, new opportunities, and unforgettable memories. Be sure to review your campus bell schedule and mark your calendars for this year's Open House events.

⏰ Be on time! School starts at 7:30 AM.
📍 All students will report to the cafeteria when they arrive.
📄 You will receive a NEW schedule printed on white paper. Please follow your new schedule and discard any previous colored schedules.

We were so happy to see our Wildcats walking the halls with their parents, meeting their teachers and getting important information for the new school year.

Thank you parents for your support! This is the start of a great year! We also loved seeing everyone who joined in and wore their soccer jerseys! ⚽

If you didn’t get the opportunity to join us tonight, you can log in to your BISD HAC to view your child’s schedule. On Monday morning all students will receive a new schedule printed on white paper.

Day 2 of Campus Staff Development was filled with valuable information and meaningful learning. Our Wildcat faculty came ready with a positive spirit and a willingness to learn, making sure they stay on top of the important information that will help make this school year a success.

We are building a strong foundation because when we’re prepared, our students win.

Day 1 is officially underway, and it was so nice seeing everyone back and ready to go!

Our teachers arrived in full professional mode, ready to kick-start another amazing school year. We were welcomed back with heartfelt words from our fearless leader, Mrs. Nunez, and Mr. Tolman, who continues to help lead the pack every step of the way.

A huge thank you to our amazing custodial team for preparing a delicious breakfast to start our morning. We also enjoyed an engaging presentation from Dr. Rojas with Bilingual Education, followed by the Texas Color Bands team, who had us laughing and working together during an icebreaker that ended with a balloon drop!

This is only the beginning of the game, but we’re ready to set goals, work together, and make this an incredible year.
