What an incredible start to our first day of professional development! The amazing faculty and staff of Russell Elementary came together with excitement, purpose, and a shared commitment to excellence as we prepare for another outstanding year of serving our students.
We were especially honored to be joined by distinguished leaders who continue to support and inspire our district's mission: Board President Mr. Carlos Elizondo, Mr. Frank Ortiz, Mrs. Nidia Ruth Soto, our incredible boss/leader Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. Rose Longoria, and Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction Mrs. Dolores Emerson.
Their words of encouragement and dedication to student success helped set the tone for a year filled with growth, collaboration, and achievement.
The day began with great conversations, laughter, and team building at Chili's, where colleagues enjoyed reconnecting and celebrating the exciting journey ahead. Together, we are building a culture of excellence and ensuring every Russell Patriot has the opportunity to thrive.
