Preschool Spanish Class was so much fun last
Week! We started our unit on apples for fall. We practiced counting 1-10 and colors as well as the word for apple in Spanish. We read “Ten Apples Up on Top” by Dr. Seuss, sang songs, sorted apples by color and used apples to paint.

🌟 Spanish Classes for Kids — Help Me Choose the Best Days! 🌟

Hello everyone! 👋
Are you looking for a fun activity to get your children involved in? Something that helps them explore other cultures and develop a love for people who are different from them? ❤️ Would you love for them to get a head start on learning a second language?

🇪🇸 I offer Spanish classes for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade!
All classes are small group and focus on learning through hands-on activities, stories, games, and songs.

Each month features a new theme that does not rely on any previous Spanish knowledge — so it’s perfectly fine if your child joins for one month and takes a break before coming again!

👉 I’m currently planning the next session and would love your input on which days work best! I currently have a preschool-2nd grade class that is meeting Tuesdays from 9:15-10am. But the other classes have not been established yet and so I am looking for input.

Two additional classes will be offered in the afternoon:
🎨 Preschool–2nd Grade
🎓 3rd–6th Grade

📅 Classes will be enrolling soon, so your feedback is super helpful!

I’m excited to announce Spanish classes for kids – right here in our community! 🎉

Every class is designed to spark curiosity, build language skills, and make learning Spanish FUN! 🎶📚🎲

👶 Preschool Classes (ages 3–5):
• 45 minutes of songs, stories, games, and fun!
• A new theme each week to keep little learners engaged and excited.

👧👦 School Age Classes (ages 5+):
• 1-hour sessions packed with interactive learning.
• Monthly themes to help kids build vocabulary and confidence step by step.

👧👦 👧 Spanish 1 Classes (ages 9+)
•1 hour sessions packed with focused instruction and ineractive practice.
•Yearly curriculum that will continue to build on itself class after class.

Link to sign up is in the comments! Preschool Classes will meet Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:15-10:15. School age classes will meet Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:15-5:15pm. Spanish 1 classes will meet Saturday from 9-10am. Classes will meet at the Brownsburg public library or at my home depemding on which day you choose. Don’t see a day or time that works for you? Message me for private lesson options or to work on getting another class on the schedule.

We finished up our hungry caterpillar unit with a few butterfly life cycle lessons. The last two classes we have practiced the four stages of a butterfly’s life cycle. We have read 3 books on the life cycle of a buttery, done cut and paste activities, played a metamorphosis game, played four corners, read and acted out a poem and much more.

This week in Spanish class, we continued on with our study of the hungry caterpillar. We had an interactive story time where we read the story and tried each of the fruits as we were reading. We focused on our colors and days of the week as we made a book together. We practiced reading the take home book together and identified the colors to use to color each page based on the colors we read in the story.

This week in Spanish class, we continued our hungry caterpillar unit. We read a story about caterpillars which reviewed our counting and color vocabulary. We did a couple of surveys using our food vocab which allowed us to practice asking and asking questions in Spanish as well as stating preferences. We then played a game where I described the colors of a food and the students Gad to write the name of the food in their shaving cream. This was a fun way to practice writing out their words as well as listening to descriptions in a Spanish.

Today in Spanish class, we continue with our Hungry Caterpillar unit. We recited our sing sing version of the story, played an odd game to practice numbers and names of foods and then we played tic tac sight words, which is a tic tac toe game using vocab words.
