With all of the turmoil caused by the pandemic, we were not able to have fund raisers this past year. As things begin to return to some sense of normalcy, we look forward to the upcoming year and bouncing back. As always we are so thankful for your continued support. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements for what we will be planning.

In my very selfish heart, I wish this scholarship didn’t exist. Selfishly, I wish tomorrow I would hear Fout pull up in a new “unit”, because we all know he would have had changed trucks at least once or twice by now. Oh, how we would give anything to hear that infectious laugh and have one more BIG bear hug from him. Selfishly, I wish I could be at Mia’s and see Paxton fishing with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen and how we would all trade anything to hear one more of Paxton’s famous stories. But that is what set these two awesome guys apart from the rest of us, neither one of them had a selfish bone in their body. They were two of the most selfless people we’ve ever known. Under these very uncertain times, it is truly an honor for the Sanders/Fout families to carry on the legacy of Paxton and Austin through the P.A.L.S. Scholarship.

Today Christy, Tucker and I went to Shreveport for the North Desoto Fishing Team banquet to celebrate their awesome season. North Desoto has one of the largest fishing programs in Louisiana with an incredible 17 teams participating. What a great group of people. The Entire team wore Paxton’s picture on their jerseys this entire season. Paxton went to school at North Desoto from 2012 to 2014 and Louisiana was more than his birthplace, it was his second home. I had the opportunity to speak about The PALS Foundation and what it means to us. We were blessed to receive a very generous donation of $1000 from our friends with the North Desoto Fishing Team. We are so grateful to coach Mark Howe and team, and everyone else who played a part in this awesome surprise. Thank you so much!

Don’t forget! If you are planning to attend a trade school or technical college, (That includes but is not limited to: Welders, electricians, plumbers, beauticians, carpenters, and many more) If you have not already turned in your application for The PALS Foundation Scholarship, you still have a few days to get it in. The deadline is Monday May, 6.

It is May 1st and the countdown for our seniors begins! You are almost there and we can't wait to celebrate you on your special day!

I’m sorry, I know this is short notice. If you are a graduating senior at Brownsboro High School, and you are planning to attend a Trade School or technical college. You can get an application for The PALS Foundation scholarship from Mrs. Gray. If you would like for me to email an application to you, message me. Deadline for entry is May, 6 and scholarships will be awarded at senior award night May, 20.

We’re collecting orders for another batch of the PALS Foundation shirts. So far everyone that’s got theirs in the first wave has been really pleased. We will leave orders open through February 8. Comment with your size, email address (for PayPal) and if the order will be picked up or mailed.
