Thank you Northeast Guilford Fire Department for making our day yesterday! Students have been asking about this since last year, particularly now that they see you at lunch time and in car rider line. We're grateful for our partnership with you!

Our students met their fundraising goal for our Eagle Fun Run and we celebrated that by letting them tape our principal to the cafeteria wall. Fortunately, he escaped in time for afternoon announcements!

We had a blast (inside and outside) at Field Day today! Thank you, parents, for joining the fun, and thank you Northeast Guilford Middle School J-ROTC for leading our outside games. We love it when the Rams visit the Eagle's Nest! Last, a big shout out to Coach Rakestraw for making all the magic happen!

Thank you for celebrating our Lunch Heroes today: Ms. Lewis, Ms. Hall, Mr. Spencer, and Mr. Lyles.
They start early and they do whatever it takes to make sure everyone leaves the cafeteria satisfied. Just as one example, when something wasn't working in the kitchen, they cooked at another school and brought the food back.
Whatever it takes!

We are looking for someone who could build several wheeled tables for our school’s xylophones.
These would allow our students to move these heavy instruments around the music room and to the gym stage for performances.
If you are that person (or know someone), please email our music teacher, Meg Anderson, at andersm5 (at) gcsnc.com. A few sample photos are attached.
Thanks!
