What an incredible assembly yesterday morning! Our students filled the gym with energy, and it was so exciting to have our parents join us as we all came together for our Respect Chant. Hearing students, families, and staff raise their voices as one reminded me of what makes our school community special.

Respect is more than a word here. It's how we treat each other in the classroom, in the hallways, on the playground, and at home. Thank you to all the parents who came out to share in the fun and show our kids that respect is a value we build together.

Keep the momentum going this week! Ask your child about what they learned and how they showed respect today.

Hear ye, hear ye! Our 2nd graders officially wrapped up their very first CKLA Knowledge unit on Fairy Tales & Tall Tales—and they celebrated in true royal fashion with a Grand Fairy Tale Ball!

From kings and queens to courageous heroes and mythical creatures, our scholars stepped straight out of the storybooks and onto the dance floor. Throughout this unit, students explored classic literary themes, dynamic characters, and timeless lessons about courage, kindness, and perseverance.

We are so lucky to have Mrs. Spilis at Stackhouse! She has truly brought our library to life and created a space where our students are excited to visit, explore, and discover new books. It was so wonderful to see our Stackhouse students and families filling the halls, meeting their teachers, and getting a first look at their new classrooms!

The smiles, excitement, and positive energy have us even more excited for the year ahead. Stackhouse is ready for an AMAZING 2026–27 school year!
