✨ Welcome to Stackhouse, Ms. Downing! ✨

Help us welcome Ms. Downing, our new First Grade ICR Special Education Teacher who will be teaching with Ms. Ranelli in room 4!

Ms. Downing holds degrees from Rutgers and TCNJ and brings a decade of experience across public schools and CHOP's behavioral health program. Outside the classroom, she loves spending time with her two rescue pups (Lucy & Olive), working on puzzles, cooking, following true crime, and enjoying a delicious cheese board.

We are so excited for her to join our building and work with our first graders. Welcome to the Stackhouse family, Ms. Downing!

✨ Welcome to Stackhouse, Mrs. DeVries! ✨

Join us in celebrating Mrs. DeVries, who is joining the Stackhouse family this year as our K–2 Special Education ABA teacher!

With 10 years of teaching experience under her belt (and 7 right here in Pemberton!), Mrs. DeVries is a Bloomsburg University grad who loves family time. This summer was filled with camping and trips to Myrtle Beach with her husband Dave and daughters Harper & Charlie. Fun fact: Her house is full of love with three dogs—Doug, Daisy, and Dakota!

We can’t wait for an amazing school year ahead. Welcome aboard, Mrs. DeVries!

We are so excited to highlight Mrs. Carroll, one of our wonderful Kindergarten teachers who hopped on the Stackhouse bus back in January!

🍎 Role: Kindergarten Teacher

🎓 Alma Mater: University of North Carolina Wilmington

📚 Experience: Entering her 7th year in education! (2.5 years teaching Kindergarten in Hawaii, half a year at Stackhouse, and 3 years as a TA in NC & FL!)

⚾ Hobbies: Softball, reading, hiking, and shopping!

✈️ Fun Fact: New Jersey is the 7th state she’s lived in thanks to military life!

🌟 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Meet Miss Hudson! 🌟

This week, we are excited to spotlight another wonderful member of our Pemberton family, Lauren Hudson!

Miss Hudson is entering her 6th year in the district as a Special Education Classroom Aide in a self-contained ABA/MD K–2 classroom. This year, she’s embarking on a exciting new journey as she follows her teacher, Mrs. Mason, from Emmons Elementary over to Stackhouse Elementary! 🍎✨

Here are a few fun facts about Miss Hudson:
🎓 Local Roots & Education: She is a proud 2016 graduate of Pemberton Township High School and earned her Associate Degree in Education from RCBC in 2019!
👰 Big Milestone: She has an extra-special reason to celebrate this month—she is getting married right before the first day of school!
💼 Part-Time Work: Outside of the classroom, you might also run into her working part-time at Kirkland’s Home in Marlton.
⚾ Hobbies & Bucket List: In her free time, Miss Hudson loves diving into thriller novels, cooking, and taking long walks with her dog, Willow. She’s also a huge baseball fan with a goal to visit all 30 MLB stadiums!

🌟 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Meet Nicole! 🌟

This week, we are thrilled to introduce one of our incredible educators, Nicole!

Nicole is entering her 10th year of teaching and her 8th year with the Pemberton family! This year, she will be serving as one of our K-2 ABA Special Education Teachers at Stackhouse Elementary. 🍎✨

Here are a few fun facts about Nicole:
🎓 Education: She graduated from Rutgers University with her Master’s in Education and holds her Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification.
💼 Busy Bee: Outside the classroom, she also manages a Kirkland’s Home location!
🏡 Family First: Nicole has been happily married for 20 years, is a proud mom of three amazing kids, and has a fun-loving dog named Axel. She’s also a devoted aunt to her nephew, Lucas, and niece, Rylee—and teaching runs in the family, as her sister is an educator too!
✈️ Hobbies: When she’s not teaching, you can find her traveling, hitting the gym, or spending quality time with her family.

Help us congratulate Ashley Kaloguerakos on her new role as a Kindergarten Teacher! Ashley has been a cherished part of our Stackhouse community for 4 years as an aide, sub, and student teacher. As a graduate of Western Governors University entering her 5th year in education, she is so ready to inspire our newest little students!

When she’s not teaching, you can find her reading, crafting, or hanging out with her 3 dogs (Trouble, Hunter, and Stella!). 🐶📖

Ever wonder what teachers do in the summer? 👀 This! Our incredible Stackhouse team gave up part of their summer to come together, read, plan, and dream big for next school year. The Energy Bus is coming to Stackhouse, and we cannot wait! 🚌⭐

On June 11th, the Pemberton Township Public Works Department visited Stackhouse Elementary and spent time with Ms. Ranelli's class for a hands-on lesson about caring for our community!

Students helped clean up trash around the school grounds and learned the importance of keeping our environment clean and beautiful. They also participated in a fun and interactive sorting game, where they identified which items belong in the recycling bin and which belong in the trash.

A huge shout-out and thank you to Donna McBreen and the entire Public Works team for providing such an engaging and educational experience for our students. We appreciate your partnership and commitment to teaching our students how they can make a positive impact on their community! ♻️🗑️💙
