St. Cecilia School

Every year, we take time to consecrate the classrooms and shared spaces across our campus, placing each space under the care of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. ❤️‍🔥

Fr. Michael and Deacon Jules walked throughout campus with the monstrance, blessing each classroom, office, and shared space and praying that every place at St. Cecilia would be a place where faith grows, hope is strengthened, and charity is lived.

As we begin a new school year, we pray that Christ’s presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament will remain at the heart of all we do. May our classrooms be filled with truth, kindness, wisdom, and peace, and may every student and teacher be inspired to know Christ, follow Him, and become His missionary disciple.

Today we celebrated our first school Mass of the year! 🙏💙

Fr. Michael welcomed our students back from summer and invited them to reflect on our theme for the year: “When you look for Me, you will find Me.” He challenged our students to ask themselves, What are you looking for?

Our faculty and staff led us in the celebration of Mass, living out their call to be missionary disciples and leading our students by example. What a beautiful way to begin a new school year: gathered in faith, seeking the Lord together. ✝️

Our new SRO, CPL. Alfred, kicked off the morning with a great conversation in the courtyard, discussing e-bike laws and safety with our 8th grade boys before the school day began. 🚲💙

We’re grateful to have CPL. Alfred on campus and building relationships with our students while helping keep our Bluejays safe and informed!

House Pride Is in the Air! 💙

Friday, our Bluejays kicked off the school year with our Back to School House Assembly! One of the best parts? Watching our new students climb to the top of the big slide, discover their new House, and then slide down to a wave of cheers from their new House family. 🛝🎉

We also revealed our theme and song for the year as students and faculty joined together to celebrate the four Houses that make up our school community: House of Grace, House of Faith, House of Hope, and House of Love.

It was the perfect way to start the year with plenty of House pride, school spirit, and Bluejay excitement! 💙
