Parents if you love you childcare provider please speak out!! This is just some of the insane additions they are proposing…No pet hair, no bad smells, no fragrances, clean, disinfect and sanitize your fridge and freezers monthly, self enclosing gates outside, (do they even make those?)what toys and how many we must have, no exposed dirt allowed unless tested, no sound machines and so much more they packed into the new proposed regulations. They were supposed to make it easier on childcare providers by clarifying and updating existing rules but instead went from 28 pages to 97.

The Department of Human Services in April released updated licensing standards for both family child care providers and child care centers.
