Let’s talk AvGas ⛽️ With Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport now being the second airport in the Denver area to offer Unleaded 94 AvGas, we have proudly ensured that all eligible aircraft in our fleet have the necessary STCs and can operate safely with both 100LL and UL94.

So what are some of the benefits?

The biggest being NO MORE LEAD! The aviation industry has been working for years to find suitable alternatives to leaded fuel. UL94 is the now the first certified option to provide cleaner emissions without compromising quality, consistency, or aircraft performance.

Along with cleaner emissions comes operational benefits.

Think about it: cleaner emissions = cleaner combustion. Cleaner combustion = cleaner engines. Cleaner engines = less maintenance. Less maintenance = more safety!

This isn’t just theory. We’ve seen this in practice and have thousands of flight hours worth of data to back that up. The Aspen Flying Club fleet has used UL94 since KAPA rolled out unleaded fuel in May of 2023.

Torieka has been an integral part of WAFA @ KBJC for the last three years, so everyone is encouraged to come say goodbye. Memories will be shared and good times will be had from noon until the pasta runs out!
