One of our favorite Centennial traditions ✨🫶🏼🥹
At the final Kindergarten & First Grade Community Meeting of the school year, each first grader is paired with a kindergarten buddy to bring out to the big playground! It’s our kindergartners’ very first time getting to play on the 1st–5th grade playground, and their buddy is there every step of the way to show them the ropes. 💜💛🦅

Dear Centennial Families,
I want to let you know about some changes with our use of school devices.
Over the course of the school year, Adams 12 Five Star Schools has been working with a focus group of parents, teachers and students to learn about how we can better use devices such as Chromebooks. Based on what we’ve learned from this group, and as part of our efforts to encourage more hands-on learning and screen-free time, we are making the following changes:
-Elementary students will return their Chromebooks at the end of this school year, rather than taking them home for Summer Break.
-Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, students grades K-8 will not take devices home with them at the end of the school day.
-Teachers will not assign homework that requires students to have their devices at home.
-As part of this effort, we will be collecting all student Chromebooks before the last day of school. This will support transition to a device-use model that minimizes screen time.
-The last day of chromebook usage for the year will be Tuesday, May 19th.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
With respect and gratitude,
Geneanne Payne

These amazing 4th grade students went above and beyond during the recorder unit in music. They all practiced hard to achieve their black belt in recorder karate! Way to go musicians! 🎶✨🫶🏼🤩

CMAS = DONE ✅🎉
Our students showed up, stayed focused, and gave it their all these past few weeks, and we couldn’t be prouder! Before testing even began, our amazing Centennial parents actually took practice CMAS tests themselves to better understand the experience and help support their students at home. We were also so lucky to have our superintendent visit and share some words of encouragement with students!
To celebrate finishing strong, we wrapped it all up with a special lunch where parents joined their students! Such a fun way to mark the end of a big accomplishment!
Way to go, Raptors!!! 🦅💜🫶🏼✨
