Last weekend's free kids self-defense seminar was practical, empowering, and fun! A big thanks to all of the kids and parents who came out!

We covered situational awareness, how to use your voice and how to create space if there is physical contact. We also covered some specific jiujitsu techniques and got a a great demo from our one of our students.

Big congrats to our student and team mate Matt on getting his 2nd stripe on his white belt. He's gone through the fundamentals and is ready for sparring with his team.

Matt started out in our Muay Thai program and wanted to give jiujitsu a try and he's loving it.

If you're looking to start Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai in a safe environment, we have fundamental classes each week that don't include sparring. Advanced students also take our fundamentals classes to keep their techniques sharp, stay on the mats if they don't want to spar that day, or as a warm up for another class.
