Rocky Mountain Martial Arts - Front Range

Rocky Mountain Martial Arts - Front Range Offering character, competitor, and leadership development programs rooted in the traditional Korean martial art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan.

We develop community-changing leaders while working to break pay-to-play barriers to access our programs. As a Colorado non-profit, working in partnership with our diverse local community, Rocky Mountain Martial Arts - Front Range aims to provide accessible, affordable education and instruction in the martial arts to young individuals, adults, and their families. Through multi-faceted programs, we

create strong, compassionate, self-aware, community-changing leaders who promote physical and mental health.

Seven years ago today, on the back porch of The Bluegrass in Olde Town Arvada, Rocky Mountain Martial Arts Front Range was born.

A conversation. A handful of families. And a belief in what martial arts could mean in people's lives.

Seven years later, our little Broomfield dojang is still here, and what a year it has been.

RMMA Front Range officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We've received grants that are expanding access to martial arts, civic engagement, and opportunities for young people. We've provided scholarships, invested in our instructors, welcomed new families, and continued building toward something we believe deeply: finances shouldn't determine a family's access to training, competition, and community.

And that feels particularly important right now.

Families are carrying a lot. We see it every week. More than ever, we believe in the value of places where people know one another, show up for one another, expect something of one another, and make room for people to belong.

Over seven years, hundreds of people have been part of RMMA Front Range. Some still train with us every week. Some were here for a season. Some have taught, donated, volunteered, partnered, referred a family, opened a door, or simply cheered us on.

You are ALL part of this story.

And now there are kids who first walked through our doors when they were tiny who are becoming young adults and leaders themselves.

Seven years later, that still gets me. All the feels.

Thank you for being part of RMMA Front Range, however and whenever you've been part of it.

Happy 7th anniversary to our little Broomfield dojang.

Wahoo! We're just getting started.

Wow. Just wow. This one means a lot.

Thank you to Guys Who Give - Broomfield for supporting Rocky Mountain Martial Arts - Front Range in your Q1 giving cycle.

This $13,650 goes straight back into the work. It helps us keep training accessible, supports families, our leadership programming, and continues building something that reaches beyond the walls of our studio.

We're in a season of feeling seen. Small acts. Big impact.

Looking forward to continuing to grow and serve this community through this beautiful art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan.

Again, THANK YOU!

FUN NEWS! We've been notified that we're nominated by the Westminster Chamber as a contender for Non-Profit of the Year!

Wow. What a beautiful surprise that caught us a little off guard.

Most of what we do happens so quietly. Classes, conversations, impacting kids, adults, and families through a medium they might not otherwise have access to. So much more than a martial art.

If you’ve been part of that in any way, you are a part of this... and we are so grateful to feel this seen.

It felt like a huge hug.

Skadoosh.

We’ll see what happens next...

We interrupt our regularly scheduled Soo Bahk Kids program to watch history in the making! So much more than a martial art. We'll all remember this moment we spent together. Stories will be told. Space is so very cool.
