Garden in a Box kits go FAST! If you missed the spring selection, you're in luck. You can sign up for a late summer garden tomorrow, June 24. https://resourcecentral.org/gardens/

Missed spring planting season? Don't worry! There’s still plenty of time to save water and attract pollinators to your yard this year.

Our online Garden In A Box store gets a FULL RESTOCK on June 24 for our Late Summer season, with order pickups in August and September across the state.

As Colorado continues to face drought and watering restrictions, late summer is an ideal time to invest in a waterwise landscape. Cooler air temperatures reduce water loss from evaporation, warm soil encourages fast root growth, and your starter plants get to skip the hottest months of the year during establishment. That means new gardens can get established with less water while building the strong root systems needed to thrive next spring and beyond.

📅 Mark your calendar for June 24 and get first pick of this season's waterwise gardens! https://resourcecentral.org/gardens/

"When a community has a need, Extension’s role is to listen, learn and ask good questions. We then harness the power of the university to help meet community needs and help residents co-create the things they want. Ultimately, we’re connectors and conveners and supporters." - James Pritchett, Vice President of the Office of Engagement and Extension.

In addition to overseeing CSU Extension’s statewide network, OEE includes the Colorado Water Center. Starting in July, the division will expand to include the Colorado State Forest Service and CSU Spur, the university’s public-facing campus in north Denver.
