Nielsen had a bounce-back junior campaign that ranked her among the top players in the state, and culminated in her being named the Daily Camera girls golfer of the year.

Softball: Holy Family's Emmaline Humphries Named Gatorade Colorado Player of the Year
CHICAGO (June 5, 2026) — In its 41st year celebrating the nation’s best high school athletes, Gatorade today announced Emmaline Humphreys of Holy Family High School is the 2025-26 Gatorade Colorado Softball Player of the Year.

Monarch’s Tobin Howe named Daily Camera boys swimmer of the year
Just before the start of his final high school season, Holy Family student and Monarch swimmer Tobin Howe hit an exciting new low in his breaststroke: 55.9 seconds.

Nebraska Softball is headed to the Women’s College World Series for the first time since 2013 and will face No. 5 seeded Arkansas tonight at 7:30 p.m. MT on ESPN2 with Holy Family alum Ava Kuszak ‘22 leading the way.
Ava graduated as one of the most decorated female athletes in Holy Family history, earning 11 varsity letters while helping lead the Tigers to three softball state championships and a soccer state title.
Now serving as Nebraska’s team captain, Ava is described as the heart and soul of the Husker softball program.

Congratulations to our 2026 Mr. & Ms. Holy Family: Brady Anderson and Emmaline Humphreys!
This prestigious honor is awarded each year to one senior boy and one senior girl who, in the eyes of our administration, faculty, and staff, best exemplify the mission and values of Holy Family High School.
Throughout their time at Holy Family, Brady and Emmaline have truly walked in the footsteps of Christ - serving others, leading with humility, and living out their faith in word and action.
We are incredibly proud of these two remarkable seniors. Brady will attend Wheaton College in Illinois and Emmaline will attend Stanford University.

Holy Family girls golf claims 3A state runner-up
Defending a girls state golf title is never an easy feat, and when the defending individual champion plays absolutely lights out, it makes it almost impossible.
