This student-created production addresses the issues of growing up at a difficult time and remaining hopeful for the future.
DANCE Club meets once a week, after school, on Thursdays and uses music and movement instruction as a way to: promote physical health, discuss alternative activities instead of drug use, understand differences, and provide a safe after school location for all students. Sponsored by teacher Paula Coffman, DANCE Club is open to all students of the BHMS community at no cost. The Writers, acting Cast and Crew are comprised of 6th, 7th and 8th grade volunteers from the Theatre classes and BHMS community.
Hip Hop, Scottish, Middle Eastern, Hawaiian , Contemporary, Performance skills and other movement forms will be included in Act I. After a brief Intermission enjoy professional artists and special guests as they share their dance forms.
It will be an enjoyable, community event for all ages. Doors will open at 6:15 for general seating. Donations are encouraged at the door to help keep this event at no cost to the participants and attendees, so please donate generously!
