It’s that time of year when I get to hear how great my students are doing! Just got this text from a parent after she got a note about her daughter meeting and exceeding her reading goals for the year:

…thanks so much for all of your help Angela! (Student) regularly comes home from school frustrated but she always feels good about herself after working with you!

I thought I would share a happy text I got this morning from a mom of one of my students :

just fyi that the conference with his teacher went really well. She said he is making lots of progress and hopes he will continue working with you! She said his iready scores are still below grade level but she had him read to her a 4th grade level book and he read it with zero mistakes and could tell her what it was about. Yay! Thanks for all you do for him!! We appreciate it so much.

It is such a joy to work with my students and see the progress they make with the Barton Reading and Spelling System!

Congratulations to my sweet student, Jaina, for making the top honor roll with a 4.0! This girl works so hard and is such a joy to work with! I’m so proud of her!

Thank you to those of you working with older students to fill the gaps and those teaching primary grades to build necessary foundational skills!
