KOHL GARDEN UPDATE & Summer Helpers Needed
🥔All classes have contributed to planting our summer garden!

Preschool: Planted pumpkin seeds
Kindergarten: Planted sunflowers
1st Grade: Planted lettuce
2nd Grade: Harvested lettuce for Rainbow Day that the whole school enjoyed
3rd Grade: Planted a variety of vegetables
4th Grade: Studied lettuce for social studies and life science
5th Grade: Prepared soil and planted wildflowers

As the garden grows through summer and fall, we’d love your help! Here are ways to get involved:

This Friday, a group of graduating BHS seniors who are also Kohl alumni will be gathering at the gazebo after school to celebrate this exciting milestone! We’d love for our Kohl community to come help give them the send-off they deserve. 🥹✨

Come cheer them on, celebrate their journey, and help us remind them that once a Kohl kid… always a Kohl kid 💛

If we get enough people out there, we may even do an impromptu high-five parade along the sidewalk! 🙌
