Hello, friends! If any of you have high school or college students who are interested in aerospace, the CSBR summer internship is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the field while meeting and networking with professionals and touring local companies.
And, it is the only time high school students get to tour Ball’s amazing Fisher manufacturing complex, one of the coolest facilities you’ll find in our region! (And, they may have Ms. Dykstra as their tour guide!!!)
Please spread the word to your students and their teachers! Applications for this summer are now open.
Side note for teachers…CSBR is collaborating to provide an industry experience for teachers…more on that later…but if you’d like to “audit” the student experience, you can. Let me know if you’re interested and I can connect you with the right people to get registered.

Throwback…Tuesday! (Part 3)
At the end of April, our Eagle Engineers participated in and competed in the Rocky Mountain MESA State Jamboree at Colorado School of Mines. We had two teams competing in the National Engineering Design Challenge (NEDC)—one team created an app for our local foodbank, Broomfield FISH, and the other team created a website and game to help build access and awareness of recycling opportunities in our community. We also had 11 team members leading outreach activities, including building hydraulic machines, making punny pins and playing with laser-cut puzzles. What an amazing day!
Our Recycling Team of Raina, Maneesh, Justin and Arjun took 3rd place overall, with a top score for their technical presentation. Our Broomfield FISH app team of Ethan, Coleman, Landon and Glori took 1st place overall and is competing THIS WEEK at the MESA National Competition in Albuquerque, NM!!!
