I work with students to translate the basic economic questions into plain English and to help understand that economics is one of the most essential parts of understanding life.

Economics-the easiest thing in my world. It can all be summed up in a single word-choices. We look at it mostly as money choices, but it is the most basic choices in life that lead us to where we, Stay in bed/get up; take the hard job that pays or the hard job that is meaningful; major in music or art or accounting; take the trip to China or to Detroit. All choices, all leading somewhere. Put together, who knows? So how do these work, how can we make good choices? How about society, businesses, and the world economy? Want to know more? Welcome to economics.
