Hi, my name is Jon and I teach acoustic and electric guitar. All ages and skill levels welcome! Many students takes lessons at my house in Broomfield, but I can also come to you (a small travel fee may be added depending on distance).
I do not believe in a one stop cookie cutter approach since we are all different. I tailor the lessons to your musical interest while focusing on the specific challenges that I see. I teach to most genres including classic rock, blues, heavy metal, industrial, punk, alternative to name a few. We will focus on technique, music theory, break down songs, work on improvising and soloing, and so much more.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I have many students in the greater Denver/Boulder area. I've played for over 30 years and have taught countless people how to play ever since. I also studied theory in college and played piano as a child.
