What's Fall Fest? This is an all-school event, sponsored by the National Honor Society, where Secondary becomes a big playground for the afternoon. You can expect food trucks, carnival games, and club booths across campus. It truly is a super fun day!

Now that the dust is starting to settle, the real fun is about to start.

The following two images contain all of our current clubs. As with all schedules, this may change as the year moves along. There may be some additions too!

Hope you're enjoying the day off, Jags!

Tomorrow starts a short but busy week on campus.

We have two home games tomorrow night with high school soccer and softball. The soccer team plays Holy Family and softball hosts Alameda.

The first mandatory senior meeting is on Wednesday evening at 6:00pm.

On Friday, the varsity cross country teams hosts the Jaguar Twilight at Broomfield Commons. Come out and support the team during their home meet!

Week Three is here!

Clubs are starting to meet on a weekly basis now. Keep your eyes on the TVs around school and for posters across campus for all the details. All JH and HS club details can be found on our website under ACTIVITIES.

The varsity soccer team hosts Stargate on Tuesday night at 6:30pm. JV at 4:30pm.

Wednesday is this year's first LATE START. Doors open at 9:30am. Breakfast will be served. No first period. First bell at 10:25am.

Thursday features three home games for the Jags. Junior High soccer starts their home campaign against Stargate at 4:00pm. B team to follow. The varsity volleyball team hosts Valley at 6:30pm and softball starts at 4:330pm. They host Englewood.

We know you've been waiting for the first three day weekend! School will be closed on Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day.

This morning, the junior high yearbook staff participated in their annual "Word of the Year" team-building activity. Have you ever selected a word to focus on for a year?

The staff was challenged to select a single word to be their focus for the year in class. They can use that word to set goals or intentions in Yearbook. The word could be something that brings focus and clarity to what they want to create.

The intention and end goal of the activity is to have these words serve as inspiration throughout the year, serving as a reminder to help guide daily actions and become the best possible version of ourselves.

As you go into the weekend, maybe take this little activity with you. What would your word be?

As we continue to get back into the routine here at Secondary, we wanted to share a little reminder about Late Starts. Next Wednesday is our first one of the year.

If you're new to JA or maybe just erased last year from your mind, JA Secondary has a late start on the FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH...except January due to Winter Break.

What does that mean for you, The Student?
The school doors do not open until 9:30am.

Why 9:30am?
Our teachers and staff hold department meetings during the early morning.

Is there 1st Period?
No. Even those with 1st period get to sleep in.

Can I get in earlier than 9:30am?
Unfortunately not. Since our teachers and staff are in meetings, the doors have to stay closed and locked.

What about breakfast?
Yes, breakfast is served from 9:30am to 10:00am.

Will the locker rooms be open?
10:00am - 10:20am

Don't forget and be the student here at 7:30am!

One week down, Jags! This is the week that we find our flow and get back into the routine. You got this.

Keep an eye to the TVs across school for information about clubs and day-to-day athletics details. Remember, clubs are just getting started!

This week we have two soccer home games. Tuesday versus Arrupe and Longmont on Thursday. JV at 4:30pm. Varsity at 6:30pm. JA students are FREE with a valid student ID. Tickets are online!

The golf team hosts the Metro League on Wednesday at Broadlands Golf Course. This year's team has over 20 players and each one will be hitting the links. Best of luck, Boys!

Next week is when things really get moving, right before our first three-day weekend.

Calling high school photographers of all levels!

Are you interested in contributing to the school's coverage of events on and off campus? is growing this year and needs your help!

Since Jag Den Photos started a few years ago, the focus has been on athletics. This year, the plan is to extend coverage past athletics and into regular student life. Think about assemblies, after school events, gallery openings, and more.

Maybe your a graphic designer who is interested in creating promotional work for an event or game. Here's your chance to be creative, have an outlet, and share in the school spirit.

Here's a chance to work with other photographers and designers in the school. Learn from your peers and take your passion to the next level.

If you're curious to learn more, reach out to Mr. Cloonan in the office or Vinam Hoang! In the meantime, make sure to give a follow!
