Our Loomis Safety Walk went very well! Thanks for having them wear sneakers!! We encourage you to have a conversation with your child about what they learned and experienced today so they are safe in all different locations.
Mrs. Smyth spoke with the children in an age-appropriate way about why, in certain emergency situations, we may need to leave campus. For example, if we experienced flooding and did not have running water, we would need to relocate so we could have access to essential needs like using the bathroom, preparing food, and washing our hands. 😉
These conversations and practice walks help our children understand that safety plans are in place to keep everyone safe and prepared. 💙
