Matt has served on the School Board since 2014. Matt Bilker is one of nine School Board Directors for the Marple Newtown School District. The Marple Newtown School District (MNSD) is a suburban Philadelphia school district in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, in a community of approximately 35,000 people. There are approximately 3,400 students enrolled in Grades K through 12. The District has four el
ementary schools (grades 1-5), one middle school (grades 6-8) and one high school (grades 9-12). In addition to a strong academic program that includes 23 Advanced Placement courses MNSD also offers 23 Honors courses. Matt was appointed to serve as a Marple Newtown School Director in August of 2014 to fill the unexpired term of Nancy Gailbraith. He is a 2003 graduate of Marple Newtown High School, a 1999 graduate of Paxon Hollow Middle School, and a 1996 graduate of Culbertson Elementary School. After graduating from Marple Newtown High School, Matt attended Penn State University, graduating in 2007 with degrees in Journalism and Political Science. He also received his juris doctorate, magna cm laude, from Widener University School of Law in 2011. Matt is currently a lawyer for the law firm Eckell, Sparks, Levy, Auerbach, Monte, Sloane, Matthews & Auslander, P.C. He is active in the Delaware County Bar Association and enjoys engaging in community service. Matt is currently serving as President of the School Board.
