We surprised our parents with portraits of their little ones that they can look back on one day and compare as they grow. Such a sweet keepsake and memory for years to come🖤

A huge thank you to our amazing nursery teacher, Ms. Skylar, for helping make this so special for our families. We are so proud of all of our graduates and can’t wait to watch them continue to grow! 🫶🏼

Littles Steps will close at 12:30 Today!

Due to the threat of severe weather this afternoon and evening, all Tuscaloosa County School System schools will dismiss at their half-day dismissal time on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. There will be no afterschool extended day or afterschool activities/events.

Individual schools will let students and families know their exact half-day dismissal time, as they vary slightly from school to school. Lunch will be served before students leave school, and bus transportation will run at half-day dismissal time.

The timing of today’s predicted severe weather is particularly concerning for school bus routes, as some routes take two hours to run. Predictions call for the possibility of high winds, severe storms and possible tornadoes during our regular dismissal time.

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our daycare team. Must pass a background check. No nights or weekends required. Experience with children preferred.

All Tuscaloosa County School System schools and offices will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Schools will start two hours later than their normal start time. Students should arrive at school two hours later than their normal arrival time, and buses will pick up students two hours later than their regular pick-up time. There will be no early morning extended day programs or before school activities. Breakfast will be served.

Faculty and staff should arrive at school two hours later than their normal arrival time, unless they are notified otherwise by their supervisor.

The delayed start time will allow time for us to start buses and address any issues we may encounter in the morning. Families, please make sure students are dressed warmly and adequately prepared for the cold weather.

Schools will dismiss at their regular times, and afterschool activities will operate as regularly scheduled.
