Little Angel's Daycare/ Pre-School Child Care Center, Daycare, Pre-School Our philosophy is based on theorists, such as Vygotsky, and Erikson with a few parts from other theorists.

Philosophy
We are dedicated to providing a program that embraces the families’ differences and similarities in all aspects of life including religious, racial and ethnic backgrounds. Children are encouraged to learn and explore at their own speed what interests them and what is developmentally appropriate for their age. at are personally meaningful and socially relevant for each individual child. Vygotsky focuses on helping the child by scaffolding. First a teacher will model to a child how to complete a task, second a teacher will do the activity together with a child until the child is able to do an activity on their own. Erikson believed that children need opportunities to learn things for themselves in order to develop a sense of initiative. This is displayed in all classrooms where the teacher has set up learning experiences for the children to explore independently and learn new skills while engaging in productive play. Curriculum
We are starting the process of implanting the Creative Curriculum into our center. This curriculum has been chosen because it balances teacher planned and child initiated learning. It is a written research-based curriculum created by Teaching-Strategies that has been aligned with the Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards in All Essential Domains of School Readiness (Birth-Age 5).

The Brookville Police Department is excited to announce the 2026 Ghostly Night Out event, scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026. We will begin accepting candy and monetary donations on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Brookville Police Department, located at 301 Sycamore Street, Brookville, Ohio 45309.

A fun, free, outdoor, family event!

Only a couple of weeks away from our Fall Fest and Annual Meeting. Horse rides for the kids, petting zoo, agriculture and natural resources displays, wagon rides, sheep shearing, steam engines and wheat threshing, kids crafts and games and live entertainment from Kim Campbell and the Southern Memories Band. Broke Smokers BBQ, and Ullery's Ice Cream.

We currently have openings in our Preschool rooms for ages 3-5 years old who will begin kindergarten in either the 2027-28 or 2028-29 school years. Children must be potty trained. Preschool class time will begin on September 8.
Call 937-833-3365 to schedule a tour and to meet the teacher. We accept private pay and Title 20.
