To my dear friends, Today June 30th marks the end of my term on the Jericho Board of Education as your trustee and Vice President. It has been my joy and pleasure to serve on this board in such an exemplary school district, with the finest team of administrators, staff, educators, PTA, and parent community. I take tremendous pride that I worked alongside such a group of professionals. I feel inspired in the knowledge that our children are learning from the best there is and that the whole child is educated in district! In Jericho academics as well as support for the mental health and emotional well being of all students are a priority! I hold our dedicated administrators and teaching staff in high regard for all they do to educate and care for our children. Although I am stepping down from the board I will continue to advocate for all children as I have done for many years. I care about this community and my heart and soul are invested in maintaining excellence and a sense of belonging! I will truly miss serving in this capacity and hope I made you proud! I wish each of you a wonderful summer and hope that peace, civility, and respect prevail when the board reconvenes in July. This is what our community needs and what it deserves❤️
