The Art and Art History Club at LIU Post Welcome to our new page for The Art and Art History Club at LIU Post! We try to do it all! If you have as much as an interest in art, this club is for you!

The mission of our club is to provide a professional network for art students while also catering to non art students on campus with fun and interactive events. We host events like panel discussions with guest speakers who are professionals in the art community. We also try to incorporate campus wide participation in our club by hosting trips to nearby art attractions and on-campus performance art events. Join this page to stay updated on club information!

So in today's meeting we talked about doing something creative and fun!

We are going to be decorating ornaments next week for a fundraiser we will be having in December. We will be getting ourselves messy so be prepared!

Bring paints, brushes and other materials you might have! We are going to have a lot of fun next week! See you all there!

Hello Art and Art History Club! President Sasha here with some updates!

We are well into the semester! Yay!

We plan to take a field trip to Old Westbury Gardens for the event Rise of the Jack O Lanterns! We plan to go at around 10:30pm, this Friday, the 20th of October.
We will get to see some very artistically created pumpkins, carved by thousands of professional artists as they light up the night. Tickets are selling out fast, so if you are interested in joining us, buy your tickets before they sell out!

We plan to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art sometime in November. We will discuss dates after midterms.
