Ms. Tara took us all the way to Italy today! 🇮🇹✈️

Our scholars spent the day exploring Italian history and culture! We learned about the Colosseum, Pompeii, and Leonardo da Vinci, practiced a few phrases in Italian, and learned about the meaning behind the Italian flag. 🇮🇹

And of course, you can’t visit Italy without talking about the food! 🍝🍕🥖🍨 We learned about some Italian favorites like pasta, pizza, bread, and gelato!

Some days it still feels surreal that this is Riverside’s future home🦅

A place that is ours. A place we get to dream about, work on, grow into, and build a future around.

There is still much ahead of us before these doors open to our scholars, but getting to watch this place slowly become Riverside is pretty special.

We pulled out our bibles during Right Start to kick off our morning before our whole group Morning Meeting.
We spent the afternoon with Ms. Jordyn as we learned more about China through watercolor and making friendship bracelets.

Our scholars colored eagles to proudly display on the walls of Riverside Academy. 🦅

But they’re more than just decorations.

Hanging them on our walls is a reminder that eagles are made to SOAR. They rise above challenges, keep going when things get hard, and aren’t afraid to spread their wings.

That’s exactly what we want for every scholar who walks through our doors: to grow in confidence, discover what they’re capable of, and always remember they were made to soar.

Riverside offers private tutoring for students in grades K–8 in both math and reading, with in-person and virtual options available.
