This week the students participated in an all-school collaborative project in Art. Each student created a drawing of themselves or something they did over the summer. The drawings were then displayed in the hallway for all to enjoy.

🍿 CALLING ALL KINDERGARTEN PARENTS! 🍿

Our very first Poppin’ Pals is coming up on Friday, September 4th, and Kindergarten is kicking off the fun! 🎉

We’re looking for kindergarten parents, grandparents, or special grown-ups who would like to volunteer to help pop and bag popcorn for all of our Mt. Carmel students! 🍿

And the sweetest part? 💛 Your kindergartener will get to spend the first 15 minutes of the school day with you while you volunteer!

📚✨ Learning is NOISY—and we love it! ✨📚

If you walked into our classroom during WIN Time, you might hear kids reading aloud, sounding out words, practicing place value skills, asking questions, celebrating successes, and maybe even a little productive chaos. 😉 But that noise? That’s the sound of learning! 💛

We are SO incredibly thankful for our fantastic WIN Time aides who come into our classroom each day and jump right in. They meet our kids where they are and give them exactly what they need—whether that’s extra practice, a different explanation, encouragement, or a challenge!

WIN Time is all about What I Need, and today in Mrs.Cochran's classroom- we were watching that come to life. Every child doesn’t need the same thing to be successful—and that’s okay! Some need extra support, some need more practice, and some are ready to be challenged.

So yes… our learning might be a little noisy. 😂 But when you hear that buzz coming from our room, just know there are some pretty amazing adults working together to help some pretty amazing little learners grow! 🥰📚✏️
