🎉 Early Release Reminder: Students will be dismissed at 1:10 PM on Friday.

👕 Dress for Early Release: Students may wear casual clothing that follows the Hernando Schools dress code, but athletic sneakers are still required.

Today, we held our Behavior Expectations Meetings, and our Thunderbirds did an amazing job! 🩵🩶

We reviewed the behavior expectations, refreshed our understanding of what it means to be a respectful, responsible, and a ready-to-learn Thunderbird.

We are so proud of our students and are Thunderstruck by the great start they’ve had! We can’t wait to see all that this school year has in store! ✨

We wanted to make everyone aware of a slight modification you may notice during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.

Our drop-off and pick-up procedures will remain the same as they have been. However, due to a small hole that has opened in the roadway between Nature Coast and Chocachatti, the traffic merge that many of you are accustomed to will now occur a little sooner than usual.

Please continue to follow the same procedures and directions from our staff. We ask that everyone be patient, cautious, and allow a little extra time as we adjust to this temporary change.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to keep our students, families, and staff safe. Thank you for helping us make arrival and dismissal as smooth and safe as possible!

Our amazing teachers have officially survived the first four days of school… and we thought they deserved a little cool-down! 😎🍧

We celebrated today with a delicious Kona Ice treat to thank our teachers for all their hard work, patience, energy, and love they’ve poured into our students this week. 🩵🩶

A HUGE THANK YOU to Kona Ice of Spring Hill for coming out and spoiling our teachers today! You definitely helped make Day 4 a little sweeter! 🍧✨

🚨🐢 THUNDERBIRD SAFETY UPDATE! 🐢🚨

We had our 1st fire drill of the school year today, and everyone did an amazing job practicing our evacuation procedures! 🔥👏

And apparently, even our resident turtle, Osceola, knows the drill! 😂🐢 She followed evacuation procedures like a true Thunderbird! 🩵🩶

Safety first… and apparently, slow and steady gets out safely! 😂
