Interested in learning more about the swine industry? Want to raise, harvest, and process your own pork products? Register today for the 4-H Hog and Ham program's informational/educational workshop to be held via Zoom February 19. Registration is open in 4-H ONline as the Hog and Ham Program. Attending the workshop does NOT commit you to the rest of the program but does make you eligible. More information can be found at

Those wanting to continue with the program will apply for a limited number of spots after Feb. 19. Unless you completed the program in 2023, attendance is mandatory for application eligibility.

PULLET PROJECT ENTRY forms are now available for the 2023 show & sale. Request your rules and registration forms NOW because the deadline is September 16, 2022. Open to youth ages 5-18 (as of 9.21.22). You receive six pullets and will show three. You have the option of selling those three or keeping all. Registration is at : https://ifas-youth-animal-sciences.catalog.instructure.com/courses/hog-ham and you can still access registration even though it has a past deadline. If you plan or are even remotely interested, this is a required workshop for the August events.
